The fact that I studied abroad and in a new culture boosted my confidence

My experiences in Kwansei Gakuin University Business School bore fruit soon after graduating and starting work. The unique eastern experience and culture embedded within the Japanese community combined with the practicality and knowledge that I acquired added a new dimension of business thinking and performance which will benefit me forever.

With courses such as corporate strategy and financial re-structuring, my fresh view of business differentiated me from non-MBA holders and gave me a special opportunity to succeed in my career.

I believe that Kwansei Gakuin offers its students noteworthy class experience by providing strong 1-1 relationships between the student and the professor, which in the end results in specialization and strong knowledge of any subject the student is interested in. Personally, my research in innovation benefited me significantly in my new role and it would not have been so productive without the 1-1 meetings with professors in which my company was used as a model.

One important factor to consider when taking an MBA is the networking opportunities of the classmates. The various backgrounds, cultures and work experiences that I networked with during my studies in Kwansei Gakuin taught me important differences and facts that I require to conduct business internationally.

Last but not least, I would like to emphasize the important increase in confidence that is gained once an MBA is acquired. The fact that I studied abroad and in a new culture boosted my confidence and I believe it will last a life time, whether in business or not.
