Become a real professional with IBA
I questioned myself before coming to Japan about what graduate school I was looking for. Then, not long before coming, I came across the Kwansei Gakuin name several times, which attracted my attention and I started searching for more information on the programs that they offered. The MBA course at Kwansei Gakuin grabbed my attention most from looking through the course information and several professors that were lecturing here made me interested in joining the program.
Once I joined I could never say the word regret, as being a graduate student here has made me become more professional in many aspects. The basic courses that I had to take have provided me with a fundamental knowledge of how business runs and what potential business people ought to know in a real business world. After those basic courses, the program offers students three majors (Management, Marketing, and Finance). I chose management as it would relate to my future career as a consultant.
Being an MBA student at Kwansei Gakuin not only gave us knowledge about business but provided another chance for students to learn how to interact with different people from around the world. IBA provided a natural lesson for students to learn and adapt to different types of people, background and culture, which is very unique when comparing to other MBA programs.
At the beginning, I was well looked after by our seniors. They helped every newcomer in many ways, especially helping me to adapt to the Japanese academic system easily and smoothly from the beginning of the course. Eventually, this has become part of the IBA culture that seniors and new students are helping each other all the time. It is an unforgettable experience that I received from IBA at Kwansei Gakuin.
Now, I have much more confidence to go out and challenge myself with the knowledge that I have acquired here from IBA, which will help me to become a successful businessman.
