There are currently about 600 international students studying at KGU as regular (degree-seeking) students. International students are required to take a special entrance examination for foreign students.

The Institute of Business and Accounting (IBA) at Kwansei Gakuin University offers a unique education system, comprising the Business School and the Accounting School. The International Management Course (IMC) under the Business School is a place where future global business leaders gain advanced professional knowledge and skills!

The School of Science, originally started with the Departments of Physics and Chemistry in 1961, took a big step forward in April 2002 by adding two new departments, the Department of Informatics and the Department of Bioscience and by renaming itself the School of Science and Technology.

Admission through Partner Universities Recommendation

Kwansei Gakuin University offers students who graduated from one of our partner universities and wish to further their education the opportunity to apply for graduate programs at Kwansei Gakuin University upon recommendation. A full tuition scholarship is also available for up to six successful applicants per year.
