International Day Camp: Exchange program between non-Japanese children living in Sanda City and KG students

Japanese and international students from Kwansei Gakuin University and about 20 non-Japanese children living in Sanda City participated in the International Day Camp on November 8.

Participating children enjoyed making Christmas wreaths and eating stone oven pizzas and soup with KG students at a camp site. Pizza ingredients such as sausage and ham were provided by Sandaya, a local popular steak restaurant in Sanda City.

The Center for International Education and Cooperation has annually implemented two programs designed to promote interaction between international exchange students and Japanese students. This time around, the Center contributed to international exchange in Sanda City by organizing a program to promote interaction between KG students and non-Japanese children living in Sanda City, home to KG’s Kobe Sanda campus.
