Professor Yukihiro Ozaki Reaches a Milestone of 20,000 Citations

Papers authored by Professor Yukihiro Ozaki of the School of Science and Technology have been cited more than 20,000 times since 1989, when he took up his post at Kwansei Gakuin University.

Prof. Ozaki specializes in research in the fields of physical, molecular and analytical chemistry, through his adept command of various molecular spectroscopy methods such as infrared, Raman, NIR and FUV spectroscopy. He has published over 30 papers annually for the past 18 years, and a total of 872 papers since 1989.

Prof. Ozaki has an h-index of 66 (a metric of researcher productivity and impact), and his work has been cited over 1,200 times every year from 2010 to 2017. He accomplished these results together with his students, graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, teaching assistants and research collaborators.
