On 6th June 2022, we welcomed Mr. Jacek Kozak, counsellor of the trade section from the Delegation of the European Union to Japan, as a lecturer on the topic "EU-Japan: Strategic Partnership in Turbulent Times - Economic and Political Challenges“.

In the seminar, Mr. Kozak talked about the latest developments in the EU-Japan partnership, such as the "EU-Japan Digital Partnership" launched at the 28th EU-Japan Summit held in May 2022. Mr. Kozak also gave a wide-ranging presentation on the current EU-Japan relationship, including the EU's energy issues in light of the situation in Ukraine and trends in trade and the economy.

Participants actively exchanged opinions during the Q&A session, and some participants commented that it was a very significant opportunity to learn about the details of the EU-Japan Summit and other valuable topics.
