Dealing with the Needs of a Global Society from an Architectural Perspective
In an increasingly global modern society, there are great expectations for what role architecture should play. Taking into account such issues as urban renewal, sustainable city planning, environmental/energy issues and measures to guard against natural disasters, what will architects be responsible for in the future? The School of Architecture's curriculum is designed for students to be able to learn about architecture and cities from a wide variety of perspectives such as design, management, engineering, and the humanities. The School of Architecture's goal is to develop talented people who can serve in roles that can help resolve contemporary societal problems from an architectural perspective, such as architects, urban planning consultants and managers of public institutions.
