The School of Science, originally started with the Departments of Physics and Chemistry in 1961, took a big step forward in April 2002 by adding two new departments, the Department of Informatics and the Department of Bioscience and by renaming itself the School of Science and Technology.

Admission through Partner Universities Nomination

Kwansei Gakuin University offers students who graduated from one of our partner universities and wish to further their education the opportunity to apply for graduate programs at Kwansei Gakuin University upon nomination. A scholarship covering admission fee and the full amount of tuition for the standard length of the program (2 years for master’s programs, 3 years for PhD programs) will be provided to a designated number of successful candidates.
