Professor Shinsuke Shigeto of the School of Science gave an invited talk and a lecture on applications of Raman spectroscopy to microbiology at the 8th Taiwan International Symposium on Raman Spectroscopy and TARS Summer Camp, which was held from June 28th to 30th in Hsinchu, Taiwan. Over 100 researchers including students from 3 countries gathered to give presentations and hold discussions. There were lively debates on the basics and applications of Raman spectroscopy.
