In September 2024, Stanford University published an updated list of the top 2% of scientists in various scientific fields. Targeting all scientists in 22 scientific fields and 174 sub-fields with five or more publications, the list provides standardized information on citations, h-index, co-authorship-adjusted hm-index, citations to articles in different authorship positions and a composite indicator. 13 Kwansei Gakuin University professors were listed in this index according to this latest update. The list is split into two categories: "single recent year" and "career-long."
